The California Nurses Foundation (CNF) is an independent non-profit organization, founded in 1971 by the California Nurses Association. It is dedicated to charitable, scientific, and educational endeavors designed to (1) encourage, support and enhance the professional practice of Registered Nurses, (2) advance science and education for RNs, other health care workers and the general public and (3) maintain and improve the quality of nursing care for all.
